Cedric A. Brown

Cedric A. Brown, of Mineola passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026; he was 96.  He was a proud veteran of the Korean War.  Formerly of South Ozone Park. 

Beloved husband of the late Jaqueline (nee Surlis). Loving father of Carrie Ann (Robert) Fichtel, Mark (Karen) Brown and Gwenn (Andrew) Tammaro. Cherished grandfather of Caitlin (Adam), Alanna (Gavin), Ryan, Geina, Aidan and Morgan. Great-grandfather of Austin May. Predeceased by his brother Kenneth, mother Edythe and father Nat.

Funeral arrangements entrusted into the care of Kleinberg Funeral Services, located at Jerusalem Memorial Chapels, 3026 Hempstead Turnpike, Levittown, NY 11756.  Visiting hours on Thursday, July 9th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.  A funeral service will commence at 11:00 am.  Interment to follow at Long Island National Cemetery, 2040 Wellwood Ave., Farmingdale, NY 11735.

Shiva will be held at the home of Gwenn and Andrew Tammaro, 41 Clearland Ave., Carle Place, NY 11514 on Friday, July 10th from 12 noon until 9:00 pm.
